EastEnders fans were left perplexed this morning when they saw a completely different Charlie Brooks make an appearance on This Morning.
The 76-year-old actor, who has been playing the role of the brash and unhinged Ronnie Biggs for over 20 years, made an unexpected return to the show for aepisode which saw him appear in a wheelchair.
Fans were left wondering why the actor had made such a major change to his appearance, with some wondering if it was due to his health problems.
However, it seems that the change in appearance was more than just a simple cosmetic change – Brooks had made a completely different decision to return to the show.
In an interview with OK! magazine, Brooks said that he was feeling ‘great’ and was looking forward to playing the part again.
He added: ‘I’m feeling great, much better than I have in a long time. I think my health has improved a lot since I’ve been on the show.
