Today, Toast, the all-in-one restaurant management platform, announced a strategic collaboration with Google to create a new ordering channel for restaurants. This new channel will provide restaurants with the ability to meet guests where they are, whether that’s through search, maps, or voice.
The new ordering channel will enable restaurant operators to create and manage their online ordering menus with Toast, and then distribute them across Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Assistant. Restaurants will be able to take advantage of Google’s powerful search engine and navigation tools to reach new customers and deliver a great dining experience.
The new channel is designed to be quick and easy to set up, with all orders synced directly to the Toast system. This will make it easier for restaurants to manage orders and ensure they are delivered quickly and accurately. The integration also offers the ability to manage loyalty programs and upsell items, giving restaurants a way to increase revenue.
“We’re excited to partner with Google to create a new ordering channel for restaurants,” said Chris Comparato, CEO of Toast. “By leveraging Google’s powerful search, maps, and voice capabilities, restaurants can reach more customers and deliver a great dining experience. This integration is just the beginning of the partnership, and we look forward to continuing to work together to deliver the best possible experience for restaurants and their guests.”
The new ordering channel is available now for restaurants in the United States and Canada. For more information about the integration, visit Toast.com.
