The 1970s: A Retrospective of Paul McCartney’s Career

A New Paul McCartney Documentary Will Chronicle His 1970s Era

Paul McCartney is set to star in a new documentary that will chronicle his career from the 1970s onwards. The documentary, produced by Pulse Films in collaboration with the rock legend, is said to include unseen archival material and interviews with McCartney himself.

The documentary will focus on McCartney’s career in the 1970s after the break-up of the Beatles, which includes the formation of his first solo band, Wings, and the release of a string of solo albums and collaborations with fellow musicians. These include the albums Band on the Run, RAM and Wild Life, as well as his contributions to the Beatles Anthology project.

The documentary will also cover the singer’s achievements in the 1980s, including his collaborations with Michael Jackson and his Grammy-winning run of pop hits. Additionally, it will also explore the stories behind many of his most beloved songs, including “Maybe I’m Amazed” and “Live and Let Die.”

The project is being helmed by director Dave Grohl, who previously worked with McCartney on his 2013 album New. Production on the documentary has already begun and is expected to be released at some point in 2019.

For McCartney fans, this documentary is a must-see. It is an exciting opportunity to get an in-depth look at one of the greatest songwriters and performers of all time.
