It has been reported that Teen Mom star David Eason has been arrested for order of protection violation after his wife Jenelle Evans reported photos of her bloodied face.
The longtime reality star and former husband of Evans was arrested on Saturday in North Carolina and is currently being held without bond. According to the arrest warrant report, Eason was charged with “assault on female, communicating threats, and injury to personal property”.
Evans claimed that Eason had violently assaulted her and had sent her threatening text messages. She provided police with screenshots of the messages which included him saying “Just remember I’m a lot bigger than you and you do what I say.”
Evans also provided photos of her bloody face which she claims was a result of the altercation. She told police that this was not the first time Eason had assaulted her.
Eason has not publicly commented on the incident and it is unclear what penalty he may face if convicted.
The news comes as a shock for fans of the former couple as they were once thought of as being inseparable. Both stars had appeared on the MTV reality show Teen Mom 2 which followed their relationship and the struggles they faced in raising their family.
It is unknown what the future holds for the couple, but it is clear that the incident has taken its toll on Evans, who is now faced with the difficult task of rebuilding her life without her former husband.
