Wolf Pack Boss Promises Sarah Michelle Gellar ‘Kicking Ass All Over the Place’
Sarah Michelle Gellar is set to return to TV as the lead character in the upcoming reboot of the hit series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Gellar also starred in the films “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “The Watcher” and has been working steadily in Hollywood since the late 1990s.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Gellar’s new “Wolf Pack” boss, Adam Horowitz, promised the actress that she will be “kicking ass all over the place” on the new show.
Horowitz, who created the show and serves as its executive producer, previously worked with Gellar on the WB series “The O.C.” and “Reaper.”
“She’s one of the few people who can come in and just completely own the material,” Horowitz said of Gellar’s skills.
Gellar is currently filming the pilot for “Wolf Pack” in Vancouver and Horowitz says that the show is “very much in the vein of ‘Buffy.'”
“It’s a show about a pack of werewolves and their battle against the forces of evil,” Horowitz said.
The series is set to air on the CW network in the fall of 2016.
