Reminder for Pregnant Women: Do Not Consume Alcohol

CDC tells doctors to remind pregnant women not to drink alcohol

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advise doctors to remind pregnant women not to drink alcohol during the early stages of pregnancy.

Drinking alcohol can harm both the baby and the mother, and can increase the risk of developing major health problems for both the baby and the mother.

In the early stages of pregnancy, alcohol can still cause problems for the baby, such as poor development of the brain and spine. It can also be bad for the mother’s health, and can cause infections, problems with the baby’s foetus, and problems with the mother’s overall health.
