‘Scoop’: Gillian Anderson, Rufus Sewell & More Join Prince Andrew Bombshell BBC Interview Movie At Netflix

Netflix has just announced the star-studded cast for its upcoming biopic about Prince Andrew’s controversial BBC interview. Joining the cast are Emmy-winning actor Gillian Anderson (The X-Files), Rufus Sewell (The Man in the High Castle), Tom Hollander (The Night Manager) and Charles Edwards (Downton Abbey).

The film, titled “The Prince,” will tell the story of Prince Andrew’s highly-publicized scandal involving the late Jeffrey Epstein and his association with the disgraced financier. It will explore how royal family members were affected by the scandal and offer a behind-the-scenes look into the Prince’s BBC interview.

The movie’s cast also includes Ace Bhatti (Game of Thrones), Louise Brealey (Sherlock) and Ralph Ineson (The Office). It will be directed by Stephen Frears (The Queen) and written by James Graham (Brexit: The Uncivil War).

In the BBC interview, Prince Andrew attempted to distance himself from Epstein, saying he was unaware of the full extent of Epstein’s crimes. The interview was widely criticized and seen as a disaster for the prince.

The film is set to be released later this year and will certainly be one of the most talked-about movies of 2021. With such a stellar cast and an explosive story to tell, it’s sure to be one of Netflix’s biggest hits.
