Football fans around the world have been stunned by the incredible speed of Chelsea’s Ukrainian midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk this season.

The 20-year-old has been clocked as the fastest player in the Premier League after sprinting an astonishing 35.1 kilometers per hour in a match against Crystal Palace earlier this month.

Mudryk joined the Blues from Ukrainian side Karpaty Lviv in the summer of 2020, and the speedster has quickly become a fan favorite. He has been used sparingly in the first team this season, but has been used as an impact sub in several matches, catching the eye of supporters with his lightning pace.

The Ukrainian is most comfortable playing in a central attacking midfield role, but can also play out wide. He is an excellent dribbler, able to make defenders look foolish with his mesmerising footwork. He is also a deadly finisher, able to put away chances with both feet.

Mudryk’s performances have attracted the attention of national team manager Andriy Shevchenko, who has included him in the squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers in March.

It is clear that Mudryk has all the talent to become a world-class player, and with Chelsea’s support, we could soon see him become a regular in the Premier League. His pace is incredible, and he is certainly one to watch out for in 2021.
