Atekcity has recently announced a recall of two million COSORI® air fryers due to fire and burn hazards. The recall was issued after the company received reports of the air fryers overheating, smoking, and catching fire.
What is the Recall?
The recall affects two million COSORI® air fryers with model numbers CP158-AF and CP137-AF. The air fryers were sold in black, white, and red and were sold at Walmart, Amazon, and other retailers from July 2017 through October 2019.
What are the Hazards?
The air fryers can overheat, smoke, and catch fire, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. Atekcity has received 11 reports of the air fryers overheating, smoking, and catching fire, including one report of a minor burn injury.
